I decided about two weeks ago to start writing random blogs, like what shape the earth is and ect.. Now giving that I got a lot of traffic, the bounce rate was almost 100% and no comments.

So random blogs, they just don’t work that well.

Also, I am sorry I have been away for so long. My life is on the hectic side, I don’t want to loose any readers so in the upcoming week I hope to get back to blogging 1-5 times a day again.

It is.

I was sitting and thinking awhile back, and came to a conclusion. That was that we can not be 100% sure that cancer is caused by cigarettes, maybe 99%, and maybe not even that much.
Yeah sure, statistics will say something of sorts like

Out of all lung cancer only 15% make up the ones who have “never smoked” but, still it could only be a “statical coincidence” and the ones who have gotten lung cancer who have smoked may have got lung cancer whether or not they ever smoked a cigarette in they’re life or not.

It’s just one of those things that they can swear upon because of science, but think about how many other coincidences there are. I am just saying they can not claim to be 100% sure that cigarettes cause lung cancer. I will personally give them a 99% possibility. But 99% is still only 99%.

Note:I do not advocate smoking, I believe it is stupid to breath in smoke. I currently smoke 1-4 cigarettes a week and am currently trying to quit. The point of this post was not to say smoking is ok, but to illustrate that its one of those things that can not be proven.

All around High Point, and surrounding areas in North Carolina (*and in other places I am sure as well*) people are driving with head lights that almost blind you whether they be coming at your behind you.

A prime example is this 4×4, I think its a ford (maybe) couldn’t see because of the extremely bright lights. This truck has been behind me numerous times because whoever owns it is always cruising on Friday and Saturday. And since the truck stands out since it is so big.. well, I see it A LOT. The lights on the truck are overwhelmingly bright and should not be allowed on the road at all. This truck has almost made me and a few of my family members wreak numerous times because whether it be behind you or coming towards you, its all you can do to just stay in the road without stopping completely.

Now of course that is only one example, other cars that stand out much less than the huge 4×4 do the same thing, and one person that is majorly affected by this is my father who was a recent stroke victim. Someone whose eyes have always been sensitive to light and that worsened on the day of his stroke.

What I propose be done about this, is a limit to how bright lights can be. Cops wasted they’re time stopping us because we did not have a “tag light” on a truck that was custom made and never intended to have one. They waste time handing out tickets because people have red, purple, etc.. lights within they’re own personal car that is not affecting anyone. And there is a limit on window tinting. All these things I understand but if these are going to be “limited” something that is actually dangerous to the road such as these bright headlights should be dealt with. I purpose and petition a law to standardize a limit to how bright lights can be on any given car.

As there is no need for any headlamps to be brighter than factory headlamps, unless it is reasonable, and only other reason is for “show cars”. I love the 4×4, I am 19 years old and love cars. But there is absolutely NO NEED for those lights to be on the road. They are a danger to every day night driving.

Yesterday I was talking to someone, and they referred to the earth as “a big circle”. The earth is not a circle, a circle is a flat object. Very few people call the earth a circle.. but HE DID! Do I care? No.. but I found it funny when I realized the earth is not round either. Per say a “sphere” as people like to refer to it as.

The earth is not a circle, because a circle is flat once a circlie goes from flat it becomes a sphere.

So why is the earth not a sphere? Because the below image is a sphere

The earth does not look like that, I mean sure if you look at it from outer space it may “resemble” it. But that is misplaced perception

So I can see why people like to call the earth a sphere, but like I said.. Misplaced Perception (basicly an optical illusion)

A sphere is smooth, however the earth is NOT. Below is the same photo with a little over exaggerated sketches from me.

Like I said, that is a bit exaggerated.. But I know you like my smile, don’t you?
Basically, the earth has different heights so it can not be considered a sphere because a sphere is a “perfect shape” A less exaggerated detail is in the two images below

The official name of the shape that earth is, is a “Geoid”. So the next time someone says the earth is a sphere you can sound smart. And if they say its a circle you can sound even smarter.

I came across this website about a week ago, and thought it was really cool. At that time I was caught up blogging about politics. And did not remember it until I saw a suggestion on Skribit.

But anyways, this site is amazing. Random Webcams from all over the world. It’s not a site that I really “need” but if your bored it can become very entertaining. I used to use widgets from yahoo to amuse me. But those were not only limited but having to search for each place and then having to download the widget was just plain annoying and time consuming. This site is fast and user friendly, and a very creative original idea.

It’s purpose is to allow you, “my visitors” to submit ideas for me to blog about. Because come on, who is better suited to tell me what to write about than the people who want to read it? Attack! Attack! from Ohio, not to be confused with Attack! Attack! from the U.K (Why a U.K band stole another bands name is beyond me?) but anyways, onto they’re new album Someday Came Suddenly. When I heard about this album being released I jumped onto it because Attack! Attack! has been mentioned by a few people that I know. After learning this band was a “screamo” band It scared me, because I figured I would highly dislike them and piss a bunch of people off, It turned out to be a little better than I originally thought.

Someday Came Suddenly 3.7/5

A band that delivers amazing instrumental breakdowns, and delivers on target emotion on almost every song. This band has its flaws, but makes up for them in other areas that most bands lack in. I do not think any song should be complete “screaming” and since a few of the songs on this album fall under that category it does kind of down the overall delivery of the songs. Screaming is to be used as a mixture, and when this band does that they do it well. Most of the songs on this album mixed much better than the two songs on Escape The Fate’s new album that did not mesh screaming with singing that well. This band has a lot of hype among my generation, a little more than I believe they should have, but not by much. The band delivers well and does what they set out to do.

Using “MySpace” in a song is BAD, very BAD. And should have never been done, much less be done in 2008 after it has been over done 300+ times.

But like I said, other than the small inconsistencies, and lack of judgment with the MySpace song ^.^ I do believe the album delivers to they’re fans, and all tho the songs are not in any bracket for earning a large amount of new fans. I think this album defiantly hooked me on a few songs. I would not claim to be an Attack Attack fan, but will be listening to selective songs on the album in the future

Now, I did not give this album a 3.7 because they were bad. But because I believe the album could have been 2.3 times better given that there was no MySpace song and that the few songs that relied on screaming would have took a step down off that path.

Like I said, when I first heard about the new Attack! Attack! album, I worried that I would end up giving them a 1 or 2, and was pleasantly surprised to find that Attack! Attack! is a band that is not just youth hype, but that they actually do have some talent, and as long as they do not fall into oblivion that they will continue to get better and that I myself may become an Attack! Attack! fan.

Oh, and as far as my recommendation I always try to give on whether or not you should buy the CD, Buy The Download, Or Download For Free.

If you are a hardcore fan, I suggest supporting the band by buying the album.
If you just like the music, support the band by buying the download.

I do not recomend just downloading this album for free unless you have no other choice, this is a small time band and need your support so that they may improve and not go bankrupt.

An English band that rose into the youtube charts today. A band I have never heard of before, this probably being caused by the fact that this band is U.K based and has little presence in the U.S. Comparably, the band is “nothing new” as they have very close similarities to other bands such as “The Killers”. Of course by no means does that make this band a bad band, but the “nothing new” title does dent any chance of a perfect 5 star rating.

The over all feel of this song was very similar to songs that I love by The Killers, and that made me like it as well. The music was melodic and astounding in a way that left me feeling motivated and happy inside (and that is always a good thing). Tom’s voice was also smooth, and matched very well with the instruments. I believe this band may even beat The Killers with how well they seem to mesh together all aspects (at least in this song, and a few others I have heard).

The video was trippy, and in layman’s terms pretty “wicked and cool”. But other than the “Spirals” it did not match the tone for me. I am unaware of what the budget for this video was, but I hope it did not cost much because if it did they got SCREWED.

So with amazing music & vocals similar to that of other bands, and an alright video, I believe a 4/5 suits it well.
